Secure the wiring to the top tube and handle using appropriate plastic ties.
Make sure the wiring is not twisted or cut.
Assembling the safety guard and 3-tooth blade
Remove the Allen screws from the guard. Place the guard on the lower transmission tube. Tighten the
Allen screws (A) as shown in Figure 4.
Fitting the blade
Always wear protective gloves when handling a cutting blade.

Position the components shown in Figure 5 on the drive shaft (E) in the following order:
shaft (E) in the following order:
the lower flange (D),
the blade (C),
the top flange (B),
clamping nut (A)

Secure the drive shaft (E) using a small metal rod by aligning and passing through the hole in
the angle gear (F) and the hole in the lower flange (D).

Engage the tightening nut (A) by screwing it on and tightening it anticlockwise, using the
spanner supplied.
Removing the blade
While securing the drive shaft (E) as before, loosen the tightening nut (A) by turning it clockwise
using the spanner supplied.
Remove the nut (A), flange (B) and blade (C).
