• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done
by children without any supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified
personnel in order to avoid a danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
AUTO SHUT OFF
• The iron is protected by a safety device, which automatically disconnects it after a certain period of time
depending on the position the iron has been left.
- Horizontal position: 30 seconds approximately.
- Vertical position: 8 minutes approximately.
• When this happens it will beep for a few seconds, and then the display auto off (1) will remain lit as long as the
iron is connected to the network and will start flashing, indicating the iron has been switched off.
• To reconnect the iron it is enough changing the position of the iron. Upon this operation, the automatic switch
indicator (1) will stop working intermittently.
STEAM IRONING
• Set the temperature selector (8) to its maximum position (MAX) by turning it clockwise.
• Before filling the tank with water, set the adjustable steam knob (4) to the off position (0).
• To fill the tank, always do so with the iron unplugged from the mains.
• Open the filling lid (5) and pour water into the tank using the cup provided.
• Do not go over the MAX indication of the tank (9) to avoid overflowing.
• Replace the lid.
• Connect the iron to the network. The indicator (10) and the auto shut off indicator (1) will light up. Note that the
auto shut off indicator is lit as long as the iron is connected to the network.
• Place the steam iron in vertical position.
Attention:
It is important to place the iron in vertical position because if it is leave it in horizontal position the auto off
system could be connected before the iron has reached the selected temperature.
• Once the pilot light (10) goes off, turn the steam knob (4) to the maximum steam indication
desired amount of steam.
SUPER STEAM
• The temperature selector (8) must always be set to its maximum position (MAX).
• Press and release the button (3). Repeat this operation at intervals between each time you press the button.
• If you wish to obtain a greater super-steam set the steam control knob (4) to the off (0) position.
VERTICAL IRONING
• It allows you to remove creases from the garments without them having to be lying on the ironing board: jackets
and coats may be pressed on their hangers; as may be hanging curtains and such.
• Close the adjustable steam knob (4) and place the temperature selector to the (MAX) position.
• Bring the iron close to the garment in a vertical position and press the steam button (3).
SPRAY IRONING
• To obtain a spray, the temperature selector (8) position is unimportant.
• Press the spray button (2). In case no water should come out, press the button again.
DRY IRONING
• If there is water in the tank, set the adjustable steam knob (4) to the off position (0).
• Plug the iron into the mains and place the selector (8) in the desired temperature for each fabric:
- FIBRAS SINTÉTICAS : SINTHETIC FIBRES: Low temperature (•)
- SEDA – LANA : SILK – WOOL: Medium temperature (••)
- ALGODÓN – LINO : COTTON – LINEN: High temperature (•••MAX)
AUTO-CLEANING SYSTEM
• Set the adjustable steam knob (4) to the off position (0).
• Pour water into the tank.
