Instructions
•
Unlock the pliers: Bring the pliers handles closer and press the release pin.
•
Cable cutting: Cut the cable to the desired length. Make sure that the cut
is straight and not diagonal.
•
Cable stripping: Insert the cable into the stripping area. Tighten the pliers
and gently rotate the cable until the blade cuts the outer sheath of the
cable.
•
Wires preparation: Straighten the twisted wires and sort them by color.
•
Preparing the plug: Insert the correctly aligned wires into the RJ45 or
RJ12 plug. Note: In some RJ45 plugs, the wires must be pushed until they
come out of the plug at least 1 cm. The excess wires will be cut during the
crimping of the plug.
•
Adjust the screw according to the type of cable, CAT7 or CAT5 (only for
the RJ45 plug).
•
Plug crimping: Insert the plug into the crimping area dedicated to each
type of plug (RJ45 or RJ12). Squeeze the pliers' handles twice in a row to
crimp the plug.
