2.3 Operation
Connecting the charger to the wall socket
Confirm that the available charging voltage is
within the input voltage range of the battery
charger.
Always comply with all safety warnings and
instructions when charging the Hydrive e-bike
battery.
Do not charge the battery if all instructions cannot
be followed.
Connecting the battery with the charger
Notes.
• If the battery is installed on the e-bike turn
off the e-bike prior to charging the battery.
• Make sure the charge connector and the
area around the charging socket are clean
prior to charging the battery.
• Only charge the battery in a clean and dry
environment.
To charge the battery, open the charge socket
cover (3) and plug in charge connector (6) into
the charge socket (2).

There are 5 LEDs located on the display unit and
battery pack which indicate the approximate
level of charge of the battery pack. Each LED
indicates approximately 20% capacity. When
charging the battery each fully illuminated LED
indicates that approximately 20% of the battery
has been charged.
A flashing LED indicates that the next 20% of
the battery is being charged. When all 5 LEDs
are illuminated the battery is fully charged.
