Thank you for purchasing the Feuerhand
Griddle Plate. With the Griddle Plate you turn
your Feuerhand Fire Barrel or Fire Bowl into
an outdoor cooking station and experience
true Spanish plancha grilling pleasure. You can
prepare tasty meat fi sh or vegetables compo-
sitions for family and friends and enjoy them
in a convivial atmosphere.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this user manual carefully be-
fore using the product for the fi rst time.
Follow the safety instructions and keep
this user manual for future reference. If
the product is used by other people, they
must also be given this user manual.
The Griddle Plate is designed and built for
outdoor use only on top of the Feuerhand
Fire Bowls and Barrels. It can be used only
if the following safety instructions, warnings
and instructions for use are followed. Please
note that under improper use, care or stor-
age, rust may develop on the Griddle Plate
due to the material.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Only use the Griddle Plate in combination
with the Feuerhand Fire Bowls and Barrels
outdoors. It must never be used indoors. Fire
hazard and danger of suffocation!
• Comply with fi re safety regulations. Show
consideration to the plant and animal life
and to nature reserves when using the
product outdoors.
• Caution! The Pyron Fire Barrel, Plate and
all its parts become very hot when in use.
Always wear heat-resistant gloves when

adding fuel and do not move the plate.
• Never leave the Feuerhand Fire Bowls and
Barrels burn unattended. Keep out of reach
of children and animals.
• Keep a safe distance to fl ammable and
heat-sensitive objects and materials. We
recommend that you place the Fire Bowls
and Barrels within a clear radius of 2 me-
ters.
• Place the Fire Barrel or Barrel on an even,
heat-resistant surface and ensure its
steady stand, before placing the Griddle
Plate on top.
• Do not cover the Griddle Plate while it is
in use. Fire hazard!
• Never use liquid fi re starters or fl uids
such as kerosene, turpentine or methyl-
ated spirit to start or restart the fi re. Such
substances can explode and are toxic and
harmful to the environment. We recom-
mend commercially available solid grill or
fi re lighters. Please follow the instructions
on the packaging.
• Do not move the Griddle Plate or Fireplace
when a fi re is burning inside.
• Wear appropriate clothes when using.
Long, loose sleeves may catch fi re easily!
• Be careful when adding fuel. Carefully add
only one piece at a time through the open-
ing of the cooking support. Protect your
hands with heat-resistant gloves.
• Have a bucket of sand or a powder fi re
extinguisher nearby in case of emergency.
• For the fi re to stop burning, let the fuel
burn down entirely and let the the Griddle
Plate and fi replace cool down completely
a ter use.
