Before you attach the Corner Blocks, verify that the Side Aprons (Hc) are seated snugly against
the front and back leg assemblies. Spread a thin layer of glue in both notches of a Back Corner
Block (Y) and insert the Block into the grooves in the back and side aprons. Using the four
predrilled holes as guides, fasten the Back Corner Block (Y) in place with four #8 x 1" Pan
Head Screws (ZA). Repeat for the other Back Corner Block (Y). See Figure 3.
Spread a thin layer of glue in both notches in a Front Corner Block (X) and insert the Block
into the grooves in the side and front aprons. Fasten in place with #8 x 1" Pan Head Screws (ZA).
Repeat for the other Front Corner Block (X). See Figure 3a.
4. Place the Seat (Jc) down on a clean protective surface, with the back of the seat hanging over the
edge. Center the frame assembly on the Seat (Jc), making sure the seat remains in contact with the
back legs. Fasten in place with #8 x 2-3/4" Black Screws (R) through the holes in the front and
side aprons and into the seat. See Figure 4.
