- The protection of the electrical plug
connections from the wet.
- If there is a risk of flooding, fix the
plug connections in an area that is
safe from flooding.
• Ensure that the mains voltage matches
the specifications on the rating plate.
• The electrical installation shall be ac-
cording to national wiring rules.
• The device must only be connected to a
mains socket via a residual-current cir-
cuit breaker (RCD) with a rated leakage
current of not more than 30 mA. Fuse:
at least 6 ampere.
• Before each use, check the equipment,
cable and plug for damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacture or its
service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
The supply cord must be 10 m long.
• Do not pull the plug from the socket by
the cable. Protect the cable from heat,
oil and sharp edges.
• Do not carry or fix the equipment by the
cable.
• Use only extension cables that are pro-
tected from spray water and designed
for outdoor use. Always fully unroll a
cable drum before use. Check the cable
for damage.
• Before any work on the equipment, dur-
ing work breaks and in the case of non-
use, remove the plug from the socket.
Assembly
To screw-on the adapter
Screw the angle adapter (15) and
the adapter with the hose attachment
(13) onto the pump outlet (11).

To mount the float switch
height adjustment
Loosen the screw of the float switch
height adjustment (5) and push the
adjustment over the float switch
guideway (4). Check that the float
switch cable (3) moves upward
(arrow to point up) (see „Opera-
tion").
To fit the cable holder
Push the cable holder (16) from the
package all the way into the guide-
way at the back of the pump casing
(12).
Start-up
Connection of the pressure
line
The installation of the submersible water
pump is implemented either
-
with fixed pipe or
-
with flexible hose line
• If using a ½" hose, attach the
hose over the pump's hose con-
nection (13) and fasten it with a
hose clamp if necessary.
• To use a ¾", 1" or 1½" hose,
cut off the connection above and
attach the hose over the correct
connection.
• To use a tap adaptor (G1") to
connect external hose connec-
tion systems, cut off the two top
connections directly above the
G1" tube thread.
