2.7 KEY FAMILIES AND TERMINOLOGY
The SUPRACODE machine works with the following key families:
A) SECURITY keys (DIMPLE keys)
B) AUTOMOTIVE keys (SLOT keys and SIDEWINDER keys)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The SUPRACODE machine cannot be used to work on
keys with a plastic blade. The blade material must be an electrically conducting
metal (brass, nickel silver, etc.)

3.- CLAMP
The instructions of the JMAKeyPro 2.0 software installed on the tablet must
be followed and, depending on the reference of the key to be worked on, it will
mention the following aspects:
3.1 CLAMP REPLACEMENT
Different clamps can be installed on the machine.
The JMAKeyPro 2.0 software specifies the clamp model that must be used,
depending on the reference of the key that is to be worked on.
If one clamp needs to be replaced by another, proceed as follows:
- Lift the transparent protector from the machine.
- Loosen screw (T2) and remove the clamp by pulling it towards the user.
- Clean any swarf from the area with a brush.
- Insert the new clamp to the stop.
- Lock the clamp by means of the screw (T2).

3.2 GRIP REPLACEMENT
The clamp that is supplied with the machine is suitable for clamping a wide
variety of different keys. Furthermore, it works by means of an interchangeable
grip system, which minimises the number of clamps needed. The machine is
supplied with two standard grips:
- Fixed grip (A). With two clamping sides A1 and A2
- Moving grip (B). With two clamping sides B1 and B2
The information on the grips to be used for each key reference can be seen on
JMAKeyPro 2.0.
The steps to take to change the grip or change the grip side are as follows:
1) Fully unscrew knob (T3).
2) Push the grip or grips with your fingers from the rear to remove towards
the machine user.
3) Clean the grip seating area with a brush.
4) Change the grip or side and reinsert it until it reaches the stop.
3.3 COLLAR AND TIP STOPS
Keys can be held in the clamp with a stop on the collar or on the tip.
The keys with a stop on the collar (with C stop) must be fitted resting against
the grips.
The keys with a stop at the tip must be fitted against one of the three available
grooves (1-2-3), as indicated by the JMAKeyPro 2.0 software in each case,
depending on the key reference. For this operation, use the tip stop plate that
is provided as an accessory, and once the key is clamped, remove the plate
from the clamp.
