• Each stored cutter has a cutter-holder (1) with its name
inscribed. This makes it easier to locate the cutter needed for use at any time.
Furthermore, each cutter family is differentiated by background colours:
BLACK: for slot or sidewinder keys
BLUE: for dimple keys (penetration machining)
BLUE / WHITE: for dimple keys (circular interpolation machining)
NOTE: The SUPRACODE machine is supplied with a sufficient number of
cutters to be able to cut the vast majority of keys on the market. Nevertheless,
if at any time the machine user considers that they require a new cutter
reference, and they also want to keep it in the tool magazine, a cutter-holder
can be supplied on which the corresponding identification label can be placed.
A template is supplied with each machine with a full set of identification
labels suitable for placing on the cutter-holder.
• To remove the cutter from the tool magazine, grip the cutter-holder (1) with
the fingers and pull outwards.
• To remove the cutter from the cutter-holder, hold the cutter with the fingers
and pull outwards.
• Once the cutter is installed on the machine's head, it is recommended to
leave its corresponding cutter-holder (1) in the opening for the holder of the
cutter in use (5). In this way, the cutter being used on the machine can be
easily identified.
• To help insert the cutter in the opening of its corresponding cutter-holder,
it is recommended to slightly rotate the cutter-holder at the same time as
pushing it into its opening.
