E) Key file: the name of the technical data sheet or file that defines the
cutting characteristics of a key (sides, axes, dimples, etc.)
F) Key code: direct or indirect code of a key, the results are shown that share
the format and whose range or variation of values includes the entered code.
There are two types of code:
1) Direct code: this has a direct relationship with the bitting, and is
translated directly to the key as bitting.
2) Indirect code: there is no direct relationship with the bitting, it is an
identifier that the manufacturer assigns to the bitting and indicates a specific
cut.

If you want to filter by manufacturer, choose this field to open a window for
this. When starting to write the name of the manufacturer in the field at the
top of the window, the application starts to search and suggest manufacturers
whose name starts with the entered text.

The model search and selection screen show an image of the selected key
at a scale of 1:1 and once the sought model is found, the selection must be
confirmed (or close the window and return)

12.5.2 Automotive
This search method is for searching for a key based on knowledge of the
vehicle for which it is required.
Automotive search screen
A) Vehicle search: starts the identification process of the vehicle
for which the searched for key is required.
B) File: functions in the same way as the standard search.
C) Code: functions in the same way as the standard search.
D) Search button: starts the search once a filter is defined.
