differential pressure transmitter characteristics, which
can be seen in figure 2 and 3.
Press the plus (+) button (3) to increase the set point.
The button gives an incremental increase in % of the
pressure transmitter / differential pressure transmitter
measurement range.
The button can be held down continuously for a greater
degree of adjustment.
Press the minus (-) button (4) to reduce the set point.
The button gives an incremental reduction in % of the
pressure transmitter / differential pressure transmit-
ter measurement range. The button can be held down
continuously for a greater degree of adjustment.
If the desired set point cannot be achieved, it may be
that the power limit has been reached and the desired
operating point for the installation is beyond the blow-
ers performance.
IMPORTANT: In automatic mode the value in the dis-
play is not related to the performance of the blower, but
merely an indication of the desired performance in the
installation. If the display oscillates between ACT, SET
and "901" value after 15 to 20 sec, it indicates that the
desired installation performance is out of reach for the
blower.
Service and maintenance:
All service, maintenance and repairs should be per-
formed by qualified or trained personnel.
The motor bearings are lubricated at the factory and
require no additional lubrication. The blower impeller is
mounted directly on the motor shaft; there are therefore
no bearings in the fan itself.
Make sure that there is always an unobstructed flow of
cooling air to the Multiair blower motor and AC drive.
Clean the grid by the cool air intake to the motor, and
the filter in the bottom, for any impurities.
The AC drive is equipped with 2 cooling fans, that oper-
ates as soon as the blowers main switch is turned on.
Expected lifetime for these 2 fans are 4-6 years contin-
uous operation, where after they will reduce their rpm,
and finally stop (see section "Troubleshooting"). The
fans should be replaced before their output are reduced
significantly, to ensure correct cooling of the AC drive.
At the bottom of the Multiair blower, a filter can be pre-
sent, to secure clean air for the 2 fans. This filter should
be cleaned when necessary, using pressurized air or
water. In case water is used, the filter should be dry
prior to installation.
The filter is removed by switching off the Multiair blow-
er, pulling down the chain located under the Multiair,
and lifting out the filter of the retainer. Ensure correct

fitting when putting back the filter.
Once a year, the following maintenance should be
performed:
•
Visual inspection of all pipe connections, covers
and electrical connections/cables, to ensure attach-
ment and tightness.
•
Ensure that all electrical connections are tightened
properly.
•
Ensure that both cooling fans for the AC drive are
running at full speed, and possibly also remove any
dust deposits from the fans and filter.
To inspect and possibly clean the AC drive fans, do as
follows:
1 - Remove blower cover screws on both sides, and lift
away both covers
2- Remove the 4 screws holding the upper panel, push
down the panel, and realease from the facade
