7. Possible failures in operation
Cause
Foreign substances between
fl uid tip and needle prevent
sealing
Self tensioning needle sealing
damaged or lost
Horn air holes or air circuit
clogged
Dirt on fl uid pin tip or air circuit
clogged
1. Too little material in cup
2. Fluid nozzle not tight self-
adjusting
3. Needle sealing damaged,
nozzle set dirty or damaged
Repair
Remove and clean fl uid
needle and fl uid nozzle or
use new nozzle set
Replace needle sealing
Soak in thinner/cleaning
fl uid, afterwards clean
with SATA nozzle cleaning
needle
Turn air nozzle by 180
degrees. If defective
pattern remains, clean fl uid
tip pin and air circuit
1. Refi ll material
2. Tighten parts
3. If necessary clean or
replace parts
