If connected to an air shaft, the exhaust air hose must not extend too far into
the shaft.
➢ The exhaust air hose required for this is included in the scope of
delivery.
12.3 Installation for recirculating air mode
The activated charcoal filters required for this are pre-assembled.
If the activated charcoal filters are not installed, first remove the grease filter.
Remove the grease filter by pressing back the clips (see Fig. 3).
Figure15 Removing the grease filter
Insert the activated charcoal filter on both sides as
shown in fig. 4 and turn anticlockwise.
➢ Ensure that the activated charcoal filter is securely and firmly
mounted.
➢ The air extraction performance is reduced when the activated
charcoal filter is installed.
Installation under wall cabinets
1. Mark the position of the screw holes and the
exhaust air fitting on the cabinet.
2. Drill four Ø 6 mm holes in the cabinet at the
marked fixing points.
3. Saw out the hole with Ø 150 mm for the air
outlet fitting.
4. Insert the non-return flap (if not pre-
assembled).
5. Fasten the extractor hood to the cabinet with 4
screws and nuts.
6. Check and ensure that the installation between
extractor hoods and cabinet is stable.
7. Connect an exhaust air hose (not included in the scope
of supply), which discharges the exhaust air upwards
through the cabinet (recirculating air mode) or guides
the exhaust air into an air shaft or outside (air
extraction mode).
