13 Putting into operation
RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
FIRE HAZARD!
Always ensure adequate ventilation in the room when the extractor hood is in
operation at the same time as gas cookers or other fluid-fired appliances.
•
Operation is not permitted above a coal or wood-fired fireplace.
•
Do not flambé food under the extractor hood.
•
Do not open the gas supply to gas hobs as long as there is no cookware on
the hob.
•
Always operate the extractor hood with a grease filter. Fats or oils can
easily catch fire if they are overheated. Therefore always supervise the
food while cooking.
•
Clean or replace the filter at regular intervals.
Always switch on the extractor hood at the start of cooking and allow it to run for
a few minutes longer after the end of cooking.
Operation:
•
The telescopic pull-out section controls the power supply.
•
Power is ensured when the telescopic pull-out section is open. Set the
toggle switches to the desired position.
•
When the telescopic pull-out section is closed, the power supply is
interrupted. No power supply.
