button
is released the centrifuge will stop.
7.
Once speed becomes stable, the different parameters of RCF, speed, time or acceleration
and deceleration rates can be modified. After modification it is not necessary to confirm
manually since digits will flash 3 times to confirm they have been saved.
o
Before configuration of operation parameters it is necessary to install correctly the
rotor on the motor shaft.
o
In cases of errors in parameter setting process, it is possible to re-set the
parameters.

Calculation of relative centrifugal force (RCF)
Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF) is the necessary force to produce separation of particles
during centrifugation. The unit of this force is expressed in number of times the gravity (xg) and
its value is directly related to centrifugation speed and centrifugal radius.
The RCF is calculated by teh following formula:
-5
Being 1.118∙10
a constant.
r centrifugal radius, horizontal distance in centimeters from the rotating axe up to the
bottom of the tube (cm).
n Rotating sped expressed in revolutions per minute (rpm).
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning and purification
In case of spills of hazardous substances inside the equipment, user has the responsibility
of make an appropriate cleaning and purification.
User should perform a correct cleaning and purification of equipment
according to what is stated in this manual to avoid damages to the
centrifuge. The use of inappropriate products and/or cleaning
procedures can cause damages to the equipment and in its internal
components.
Cleaning
Turn the equipment off and disconnect it from the net before
cleaning.
