To rewind To fast forward
Tape movement when the DIRECTION indi-
cator P is lit.
Playback 'Fast forward Rewind
TO PLAY THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TAPE
Push the DIRECTION button during playback,

¢ Pushing this button when the tape is stopped or while playing will
cause the DIRECTION indicator to change.
When advancing the tape in the same direction as being played,
push the FF button, when rewinding the tape in the opposite
direction, push the REW button.
e Stop the tape before fast forwarding or rewinding the tape.
e After advancing the tape to the desired position, push the STOP
button.
Tape movement when the DIRECTION indi-
cator 4 is lit.
Playback Fast forward
Rewind
WHILE IN THE MODE TO PLAY ONLY ONE SIDE:
Switches to play the other side of the tape and stops after playing
that side.
WHILE IN THE MODE TO PLAY BOTH SIDES:
The AUTO REVERSE indicator will go out, and switch to play the
other side of the tape and stop after playing that side.
WHILE IN THE MODE TO PLAY ONLY A SINGLE PRO-
GRAMME:
Switches to play a programme on the other side of the tape and stops
after playing that programme.
