Wiring
Disconnect all power before wiring terminals. A safety hazard exists if this precaution is not observed. Treat all
as hazardous since they may carry line voltage.
If purchased as a complete system the unit has a temporary connection to allow for calibration and functional testing.
The cable can be cut to the required length to suit the installation. Any unused wires should be isolated (not grounded)
with a suitable insulating material – tape or heat shrink. In addition it is also recommended that the cable shield should
be connected to the enclosure and earth by way of an EMC cable gland. The cable should be routed away from any high
voltage cables or electrically noisy equipment.
All wiring to the DP130 is done via rear terminal, plug/socket connectors. Up to four plugs accept the wired connectors on
the DP130. All units have at least two plugs, power input and signal input. The DP130-3N and DP130-4N have additional
connections for relay output and analogue retransmission.
