3. Installation
3.1 Installing ixalo cylinders 5915 | 5916
All installation and maintenance work should be done at open door, to avoid occasional locking
NOTE
of the door!
Check proper function of cylinder, lock and hardware after ixalo cylinder installation.
This functional check must be repeated and documented at 6-monthly intervals.
NOTE
If the ixalo cylinder is installed in panic locks, check whether their combined use is permitted
according to current building legislation. It is especially important to take into account the constancy
of performance certificates in accordance with EN 179 and EN 1125 of the lock manufacturer.

Cylinder 5916 – panic version:
Check the automatic resetting of the cylinder cam from the positions
9 to 12 o'clock and 12 to 3 o'clock prior to installation!
