Pump tube
(outer components)
16 Install and seat seal (21), lips first, into
bottom of retainer (20).
17 Install and seat bearing (22) into bottom of
retainer.
18 Install gasket (23) onto top of extension (24).
19 Screw extension with threadlocker, gasket
end first, into bottom of retainer. Do not
tighten at this time.
NOTE
If a primer is used with threadlocker,
curing time is greatly reduced.
20 Install gasket (6) into top of retainer.
21 Install and seat bearing (19),
small diameter first, and additional
gasket (6) into top of retainer.
22 Screw tube (18) with threadlocker
into top of retainer. Do not tighten at
this time.
23 Install and seat gasket (6)
into adapter (5).
24 Screw tube assembly with threadlocker into
adapter. Do not tighten at this time.
25 Install o-ring (4) onto adapter.
26 Apply grease to piston (17) to aid installation.
27 Install outer component assembly onto inner
assembly.
28 Use a slight twisting motion to pass seal.
29 At same time, thread adapter into base of air
motor.
NOTE
Make sure flange portion of adapter
seats flush against base of air motor.
Should a gap exist, inspect components
of air motor packing group.
30 Install stop washer (25) into extension.
31 Install and seat seal (26), heel end first,
into valve body (27).
32 Install valve body assembly, seal first, onto
rod (29).
33 Make sure valve body assembly seats
properly in extension.
34 Install and seat valve seat (28), large
diameter first, into primer body (36).
35 Install and seat gasket (6) into
primer body.
36 Screw primer body onto extension.
37 Place a large wrench or other suitable tool
into slot of primer body.
38 Tighten all components of assembly
securely.
39 Crush all gaskets.
40 Extend rod (29) from primer body.
Apply air to motor as necessary.
41 Install primer disc (31) onto rod.
42 Gently screw nut (32) onto rod.
43 Use an appropriate size punch in hole of rod
to prevent rotation.
44 Do not overtighten.
45 Install o-ring (33) into follower tube (35).
46 Install follower tube onto pump.
47 Tighten setscrew (34) that secures follower
tube to adapter.
NOTE
Install outer component assembly onto
inner assembly with care. Damage to
seal (21) can occur.
