9.1
START THE MACHINE
For your safety, this machine is equipped with a double
switching system. This system prevents starting the machine
inadvertently.
1. Press the On / OFF button (6).
2. Pull the safety lock button (8) backward using your
thumb.
3. Press the trigger (9) while you hold the safety lock
button.
4. Release the safety lock button.
Hold the machine with two hands during operation.

STOP THE MACHINE
1. Release the trigger to stop the machine.

ANTI-JAMMING FUNCTION
1. If the branch is blocked in the blade, push the anti-
jamming button on the control panel, the blade will
reverse and the branch will be released.
9.4
4-STEP SPEED ACTIVATION
This machine has 4-step speed limiter. The feature is used to
optimize performance and runtime after the different
circumstances. With a higher cutting speed you consume
more energy opposed to using a lower cutting speed and
saving energy for more run time.
1. To use the 4-step speed limiter, pull speed control/ safety
lock button forward to change the speed limiter.

ADJUST THE TRIMMER HEAD
ANGLE
The trimmer head can be locked into 7 positions.
1. Pull the pivot button and move the head forward or
backward to your desired position.
2. Release the pivot button.
3. Check that the trimmer head locks in place securely.
9.6
EXTEND THE POLE
1. Set the unit on a flat, level surface.
2. Loosen the the coupler.
3. Pull the pole out to your desired length.
4. Rotate and tighten the coupler.
