3. Safety instructions
• The product is intended for private, non-commer-
cial use only.
• Use the product only for the intended purpose.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and
overheating and use it in dry rooms only.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the product.
• Do not bend or crush the cable.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to
any major shocks.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately in
accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so
voids the warranty.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the product
yourself. Leave any and all service work to

4. Description
• The 8K HDMI switch from Hama is a 2-way,
manual, bidirectional switch for
HDMI™ connections.
• No extra power supply required, power is supplied
via the connected devices.
5. Functions
• Switching from 1 HDMI™ signal source
(e.g. Blu-ray player, console, PC) to 2 HDMI™
monitors (Pic. 1a; Pic.1b)
• Switching from 2 HDMI™ signal sources (e.g.
Blu-ray player, console, PC) to 1 HDMI™ monitor
(Pic.1c; Pic.1d)
6. Installation/connection
• Connect your devices to the 8K HDMI
"bidirectional" switch using suitable HDMI
cables (see Pic. 1a - Pic. 1d).
• To switch the signal sources or monitors, select
the button 1 on the top of the device. The active
connection is indicated by an illuminated LED
on the front.
Note
For perfect 8K signal transmission, the total
length of the cables should not exceed 4 metres.
For longer signal paths, we recommend the use of
active HDMI cables.
