Removing jammed toast
WARNING
The slices of bread and unit's components heat up
considerably and will remain hot for some time after use.
Do not use conductive utensils (e.g. a fork) to remove toast
from the unit, as this may damage the heating elements.
•
After toasting, use non-conductive items (e.g. oven gloves) to remove the hot toast from
the unit or wait until it has cooled down slightly.
•
Do not use a fork or other metal instruments to remove toast. This could result in a risk
of electric shock or fire.
Removing jammed toast
CAUTION
Should toast get stuck in the unit, press the cancel button
and then unplug the power plug from the mains socket.
•
Wait until the unit has cooled down completely.
•
Carefully remove the toast, taking care not to damage the heating elements.
