With the cuff in position, place your arm on the table and
relax. Bend your arm slightly so that the cuff is at the
same height as your heart.
Press the START/STOP button. All display symbols
light up briefly to test correct functioning.
The unit now inflates the cuff to the preselected cuff
pressure. The rise in pressure in the cuff is indicated on
the digital display.
An acoustic signal sounds once the preselected pres-
sure has been reached. The pump switches off and the
air in the cuff escapes automatically.
During the measure-
ment phase, the fall-
ing pressure and the
symbol are indic-
ated on the display.
If not already the case,
you should now keep
your arm completely
still and not speak.
