Pump indications
Pump does not cycle.
Pump will not prime.
Pump cycles rapidly.

External leaks
Product leakage visible at top

Product leakage visible at
bottom of follower tube (31).
Internal leaks
Pump does not prime or

Possible problems
Air motor not operating properly.
Pump tube jammed and/or contains loose components.
Insufficient pressure.
Excessive cycling speed.
Pump leaking internally.
Product source empty.
Pump leaking internally.
Pump leaking externally.
Distribution system leaking.
Initial tightening of adapter (3) to air motor (1) not sufficient.
Damaged o-ring (2).
Initial tightening of tube (16) to adapter (3) not sufficient.
Initial tightening of tube (16) to retainer (18) not sufficient.
Initial tightening of extension (22) to retainer (18) not
sufficient.
Initial tightening of extension (22) to primer body (33)
not sufficient.
Gasket(s) (4) worn or improperly crushed.
Gasket (21) worn or improperly crushed.
Damaged o-ring (32).
Initial tightening of tube (16) to retainer (18) not sufficient.
Foreign material between ball (13) and seat in piston (15).
Foreign material between valve body (25) and
valve seat (26).
Worn or damaged ball (13).
Worn or damaged piston (15).
Worn or damaged spring (12).
Worn or damaged valve body (25).
Worn or damaged valve seat (26).
Worn or damaged seal (19).

Solution
Inspect air motor and rebuild or replace as necessary.
Rebuild pump tube.
Increase air pressure.
Reduce air pressure.

Replenish product.

Correct leak.
Tighten adapter (3) into air motor (1).
Replace o-ring (2).
Tighten tube (16) into adapter (3).
Tighten tube (16) into retainer (18).
Tighten extension (22) into retainer (18).
Tighten extension (22) into primer body (33).
Replace gasket(s) (4).
Replace gasket (21).
Replace o-ring (32).
Tighten tube (16) into retainer (18).
Locate and eliminate source of foreign material.
Disassemble pump tube, clean, inspect, and replace
worn or damaged components.
