Operating Instructions

The sensor in the fixture is designed to detect light and prevent the fixture from turning on when
it senses daylight. At dusk,the light will turn on throughout the night until dawn. At dawn, the light
will turn off throughout the day until dusk.

If the fixture is installed in a shaded or covered area where there is little direct sunlight, the
light may come on during the day.
Care and Maintenance
CAUTION: Turn OFF all power to the circuit at the main circuit breaker or fuse box. DO NOT rely on the wall
switch alone to turn off power.

This lantern provides years of maintenance-free service.

To clean, turn OFF all power to the circuit and clean surfaces with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
□
Bulb Replacement: use Max.60W type A bulb or Max.4W type A LED bulb.
Troubleshooting
Problem
The light does not illuminate.
The light comes on during the day.

Probable Cause
There may be a poor connection between
the light and the supply wires inside the
junction box.
There is no power going to the light.
The sensor detects lights or sunlight nearby.
The fixture may be installed in a relatively
dark location.
There is dust on the sensor.
Solution
Check the wire connections.
Check that the switch is on and there is
power to the light fixture.
Avoid light directed at the sensor at night.
Relocate the fixture.
Periodically clean the surface of the sensor
with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
