3.1 OFF/ON key.
3.2 mm/in key: metric/inch conversion.
3.3 ABS/INC key (incremental measuring and absolute measuring).
When the height gage is in absolute mode, press the key to enter the incremental measuring mode. The screen will display 0.00
and INC will appear. Press again to return the gage to the absolute measuring mode while retaining the zero.
3.4 "H" key (display hold).
When the key is pressed, an "H" will appear. The display will not change even though the processor is still operating. Press the
key again and the "H" will disappear with the display showing the current reading.
3.5 "0" key (zero setting at any position).

4.1 Clean the base and scriber before use.
4.2 Release the locking handle.
4.3 Rotating the handwheel.
A. Course adjust: Rotate the handwheel with the small handle. Move the jaw down to the basic plane.
B. Fine adjust: Rotate the handwheel slowly using the large blue wheel. Let the jaw contact the part carefully without force.
4.4 Press the zero setting key. The screen should show 0.00 and measuring or marking may begin.
Power Source

One CR2032, 3V lithium battery can provide up to one year of normal use. The display will flash when a new battery is needed.

6.1 Keep the tool clean and avoid shocks. If tool cleanliness is not maintained, tool accuracy may be affected.
6.2 Move the tool by the base, not the column.
6.3 Lower the carriage when not in use, but ensure it does not go lower than the bottom of the base. If the unit will not be used for some
time, remove the scriber and apply a light coat of oil on all surfaces.
6.4 Keep away from strong magnetic fields.
6.5 Prevent water or other liquids from entering the carriage.

7.1 INGESTON HAZARD: This product contains a coin battery.
7.2 DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested.
7.3 A swallowed coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
7.4 Keep new and used batteries OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
7.5 Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
7.6 Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep away from children. Do NOT
dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.
7.7 Used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
7.8 Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
7.9 Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
7.10 Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat, or incinerate the provided coin battery. Doing so may result in battery
venting, leakage, or explosions that cause chemical burns.
