quality standards and, of course, always comply with the stringent requirements of the European
Union.
READ THE USER INSTRUCTIONS. IMPORTANT INFORMATION. KEEP IN A SAFE PLACE
FOR FUTURE USE!
Read the entire instructions carefully before using the product for the first time. Keep these
instructions for future reference. If you pass on the product one day, be sure to hand over this
manual as well.
ATTENTION! POTENTIAL DANGER!
Observe the safety and assembly instructions to avoid the risk of injury or damage to the product.
RISK OF SUFFOCATION!
Keep small parts and packaging material away from children!
PRODUCT MODIFICATION
Never make modifications to the product! Modifications will invalidate the warranty and the
product may become unsafe or, in the worst-case scenario, dangerous.
GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Ensure that this product is fully assembled before use. Check that all screws are securely
•
tightened and do this on a regular basis.
Failure to carry out regular care and maintenance will significantly reduce the life of your
•
product. We cannot accept any liability for consequential damage resulting from lack of care
and maintenance.
The side awning must be retracted overnight, and when not in use.
•
The base plate must only be fixed to a solid and secure surface.
•
Do not use any heating devices, naked flames (e.g. candles, garden flame torches, barbecue
•
etc.) near the side awning. Fire hazard!
Keep the side awning clear of other objects.
•
When dismantling the side awning, the pre-tensioned parts must be completely released.
•
When mounting, check the selected attachment point for hidden supply lines (water,
•
electricity, gas) before drilling.
Wear suitable protective equipment (safety goggles, ear defenders, clothing) during
•
installation.
Keep small children away from the side awning as they may try to pull themselves up or climb
•
on it.
Do not touch any moving parts. There are compression and shearing elements; the automatic
•
awning retraction function can lead to trapping-related injuries. Therefore, ensure that
clothing or body parts are not caught and drawn in.
