3. Grounding Instructions
This heater is for use on 120 volts� The cord has a plug as shown at sketch A� An adapter
as shown at sketch B is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-
slot receptacles� The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be connected
to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box as shown at sketch C� The
adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available�

5. Before First Use

» Keep any packaging materials away

» Check the product for transport
damages�
» Remove all packing materials including
packaging inside the firebox behind the
glass display panel (A) as described in
installation B step 1�
» Before connecting the product to the
power supply, check that the power
supply voltage and current rating
corresponds with the power supply
details shown on the product rating label�
» Remove the protective strip on the
remote controls battery compartment�
