This guide presents the basic steps to set up and operate this device.

Placement
Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned:
• on a surface that can support the weight of the switch (and
any other items that need to be considered);
• with a minimum of 25 mm (approx. 1") of clearance on
the top and sides for adequate ventilation;
• away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.;
• within 100 m (approx. 328') of network devices (RJ45) it's to be connected to.
