J. The manufacturer's safety, working and main-
tenance instructions and the dimensions in
the technical specifications must be followed
carefully.
K. The applicable health and safety regulations
and generally accepted technical safety rules
must be followed.
L. The router table may only be operated, main-
tained and repaired by competent persons who
are familiar with this type of machine and the
potential dangers. The manufacturer accepts no
responsibility for damage caused by modifica-
tions to the machine.
M. The machine may only be used with the original
accessories and tools supplied by the manu-
facturer. Be aware that the use of accessories
or tools other than those specified in the user
manual can lead to injury.
N. Use a push stick to hold / guide the workpiece.
This is much safer than using your hands and
means that you have both hands free to operate
the machine.
O. Always maintain a stable posture, keep your
balance and do not lean too far forward. Avoid
unusual body positions.
P. Always maintain concentration when working
with the machine. Do not work with the ma-
chine when you are tired or under the influence
of alcohol, medication or drugs.
Q. Check the machine for damaged parts. If a
protective device or another part appears
damaged, carefully check to see if the part still
functions before resuming work. Check that all
moving parts can move back and forth freely
and clear their way if necessary. Ensure that no
breakage, cracks or other types of damage af-
fect their function. A damaged protective device
or other part must be repaired or replaced by a
qualified person or the manufacturer's custom-
er service department unless stated otherwise
in the operating instructions.
R. Defective switches must be replaced by a quali-
fied person or the manufacturer's customer ser-
vice department. Never work with the machine
if the ON/OFF switch does not operate correctly.
S. Ensure that the local mains supply agrees with
the information printed on the machine's rating
plate.

T. Always use a push stick to hold down the work-
piece and to prevent 'kickback.'
U. Handle the router bits with care as they are
extremely sharp.
V. Check the router bit for signs of damage or
cracks before use. Replace cracked or damaged
router bits immediately.
W. Remove all foreign bodies such as nails or
screws from the workpiece before you start
work.
X. Keep your hands away from the rotating work-
piece.
Y. Switch the machine on and allow it to reach its
full no load speed before engaging the work-
piece with the router bit.
Z. Allow the machine to run at no load speed for
a few minutes before you make the first cut.
Check for any unusual sounds or vibrations,
which may indicate that the router bit or the
electric router is not correctly fitted.
AA. Be aware of the direction of rotation of the rout-
er bit and feed the workpiece into the router bit
in the correct direction.
BB. Feed the workpiece into the router bit against
the direction of rotation.
CC. Never leave the machine unattended when it is
running.
DD. Do not touch the router bit immediately after fin-
ishing a cut. It can be extremely hot and cause
burns. Allow the router bit to cool down first.
EE. Cables, rags and other foreign objects must be
removed from the table top during operation.
FF. Switch the machine off and wait until the router
bit has come to a complete stop before remov-
ing the workpiece.

Be aware that the router bit assembly fitted to
the router table must be checked for signs of
damage (chips, cracks and wear) each time
you use the router table. Damaged or heavily
worn router bits may not be used and must be
replaced. Check for damage if the router table or
the router bit has been dropped and/or use an
undamaged router bit.

Always use a table inlay with dimensions that
correspond to the size of the router bit you wish
to use.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective
equipment. Wear ear protectors to reduce the
risk of hearing damage. Wear a dust mask to
reduce the risk of inhaling dangerous dust.
