Before Dismantling:
•
Item numbers in bold refer to the Hydraulic Drive General Assembly 74500-12100 and Pneumatic Drive General
Assembly on pages 14 and 15.
•
Disconnect the oil supply pipe to the module by unscrewing the connection holding the hydraulic fi tting
7 (74500-12100). Lift the hose keeping it oriented upwards to prevent oil leakage.
•
Remove the air supply pipes attached to the module (note the arrangement of the tubes for reinstalling the module).
•
With a 5mm hexagonal wrench unscrew the two screws that tighten the module to the support bracket.
•
Remove the module from the machine.
•
Remove the nose assembly from the module as per the instructions in the Technical Manual supplied with the machine.
•
The potentially dangerous substances that could have deposited on the machine as a result of work processes must be
removed before maintenance.
Dismantling Instructions:
IMPORTANT: BEFORE ADJUSTING THE STROKE PLEASE NOTE THE ACTUAL SETTINGS!
•
Turn the dial for the ring stroke regulator 12 (74500-12100) & (1) clockwise
until the limit stop (A). Use tool 07900-000426 on to the spanner fl ats (2),
as shown.
Special tool: 07900-00426
•
Loosen the Allen screws 15 (74500-12100) to free the pneumatic motor
assembly 74500-12200 from the bracket 14 (74500-12100).
•
Using suitable spanners, unscrew and disconnect the pneumatic motor
74500-12200 (4) from the hydraulic drive unit 74500-12100 (5).
•
The two sub-assemblies should be separated without force (D).
•
Unscrew the ring stroke regulator 12 (74500-12100). To do this, engage the teeth of the supplied combination spanner
07900-00426 in the holes in the ring stroke regulator. Remove ring stroke regulator 12 (74500-12100) and extract the
spring 11 (74500-12100).
•
Insert an 8mm Allen key into the rotating shaft 1 (74500-12100) at rear of the module body 3 (74500-12100). Then
unscrew the lock nut 2 (74500-12100). Extract the rotating shaft 1 (74500-12100) the hydraulic piston
9 (74500-12100).
•
Extract the hydraulic piston 9 (74500-12100) from the module body 3 (74500-12100) and remove the seal
8 (74500-12100). When reassembling, make sure that the taper of the seal is oriented as shown in the general
assembly drawing.
