MS218
*Note: Earlier models of the MS215 and MS218 subwoofers have a front input which is wired on Pins 1+/1-.
To update the front input to use Pins 2+/2-, follow this procedure:
1. Remove the screws that attach the front grille to the subwoofer.
2. Carefully pull off the grille, and do not pull on the front input wires. The cable length to the front NL4 is short, so support the grille while the cable is still attached.
3. Release the FASTON tab spade connectors by pressing on the tab in the middle of the connector with a small flat head screw driver.
4. Swap from pin 1+/- to pin 2+/-. The FASTON connectors will click into place when they are correctly connected.
5. Make sure that the wires are securely connected and with the correct polarity.
