Adjustments of Biox:
Ten different dosing amounts of chlorine dioxide are available ‐ 0,1 to 2.0
ppm (parts per million). The dosing amount is stored also in case of power
cutoff. When power supply is restored the system goes back to its normal
functions without needing to be reprogrammed. Also in case of battery
replacement, values remain unchanged. When power supply is restored, or
when Biox is switched on the selected programming is shown for about 2
seconds by the illumination of one or two LEDs (see Tab. 4.8.1). For
programming:
Switch off Biox.
Hold down button "Filling confirmation" and at the same time switch
the Biox on again .
Press and release in sequence button "Manual Dosing" until obtaining
the indication ‐ displayed by the illumination of one or two LEDs ‐ of the
desired dosing amount (see Tab. 4.8.1). Normal value: 0,2 ≈ 0,4 ppm.
Confirm selection by pressing button "Filling confirmation".
Biox has now stored the selected dosing amount and is ready for use. The
LEDs now show the remaining validity time of the chlorine dioxide (in days).
Nota Bene: This adjustment has to be done exclusively by a manufacturer's skilled
engineer. A wrong adjustment might cause the injection of an excessive amount of
chlorine dioxide into the water which gets undrinkable and excessively aggressive to
the equipment it flows through. The manufacturer declines any responsibility for
damages to property, people, and/or animals caused by wrong adjustments carried
out by unauthorised staff
