Fit the spacer to the flange with the none-re-
turn valve. This is done to ensure that the no-
ne-return valve can open freely when the vent
is subsequently mounted.

The motor can advantageously be placed on a
vibration-damping surface so that the vibrati-
ons from the motor are not propagated to the
building structure.

Place the motor in the desired location, pull the
cable and vent from the hood to the motor and
install the vent to the outside.
NOTE: When installing a vent on the motor, the
vent side must be mounted on the flange with
the non-return valve.

If an insulated vent hose is used, the vent must
be insulated so as to prevent condensation.
