In all the following warning terms „power tool" refers to a battery powered tool with cable.
Work area safety
1.
Keep the work area clean and bright. Poor visibility can cause accidents.
2.
Do not operate the power tool in a hazardous environment, such as in areas with flammable
liquid, gas or dust. Sparks from power tools ignite dust or gas.
3.
Operate the power tool without any distractions. Inattention can cause the operator to lose
control of the tool.
Electrical safety
1.
Avoid bodily contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
If your body is grounded, it will increase the risk of electric shock.
2.
Do not expose the power tool to rain. Water entering the power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
3.
If charging the tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD)
protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
4.
Do not use the cable improperly, e.g. for carrying or pulling the shears. Keep the cable away
from heat, inflammable substances, sharp edges or moving parts. A damaged or entangled
cable increases the risk of electric shock.
