Errors and possible rectification

For all error codes
You can perform the rectification measures listed below yourself, making sure
you follow the safety instructions.
The appliance switches off during operation:
1. The overheat protection
switch has switched off
the appliance.
2. The overheat protection
switch has switched off
the appliance again.
The appliance switches off after 60 minutes of continuous operation:
Safety off
1. No error. The safety off
has switched off the
appliance.
The appliance has insufficient drying power:
Airflow setting
1. Airflow is set to level I
2. The airflow grille 4 or
air filter in filter cover b
are soiled.
Excess heat to neck when drying short hair or with small curlers:
Long-hair drying function is

Switch off appliance at ON/OFF switch a. Unplug the power plug e.
Attach a FAULTY sign to the appliance.
Should further errors or malfunctions occur or the rectification measures listed
fail to eliminate the error, write down the error messages displayed and contact
the Wella Customer Service Centre.
For your own safety, do not try to correct other problems yourself!

Allow the appliance to cool down.
Remove the power plug e.
➥ Check the air filter in filter cover b as
described in "Section 5.3" page 44 and change, if
necessary.

Remove the power plug e.
Attach a FAULTY sign to the appliance.
Contact Customer Service.
➥ If a drying time of more than 60 minutes is
needed, the appliance must be restarted after
the initial 60 minutes are up by turning the
control button h and inputting a new time.
➥ Set airflow to level II as described in "Section
4.5.3" page 41.
➥ Switch off appliance at the ON/OFF switch a.
Remove the power plug e.
➥ Clean the airflow grille 4 as described in
"Section 5.2" page 43.
➥ Check the air filter in filter cover b as
described in "Section 5.3" page 44 and change, if
necessary.
➥ Deactivate long-hair drying function as
described in "Section 4.6" page 42.
