6.Limitations on environmental
conditions
The IP Degree of this electric machine is 20. This
machine is protected against the access with a
finger to dangerous parts and against solid foreign
bodies of 12'5 mm and larger ones. This machine
does not have any kind of protection against water
penetration so that its use in outdoors or indoors
environmental conditions with the risk of
precipitations is prohibited.

8.Adjustments and test
¡Warning!:
Before carrying out any operation on the electric
machine, remove the mains plug from the power
socket.
If the machine has been subject to continued or
intense use it is necessary to check and adjust it to
ensure correct service quality and safety of the
machine.
This requires knowledge, experience and special
tools. The official technical service of Stayer Ibérica
S.A. will carry out this work for you in a fast,
exhaustive and economic manner.
Adjusting the locking in the lower resting
position

Information
One begins with the machine in its locked upper
resting position.
Checking
1. Unlock by pushing button 4.
2. By means of 3, lower the head down to the lower
stop.
3. Push bolt 32. If it is well-adjusted, the bolt must
enter smoothly until locking the head. Otherwise
one must proceed to adjust the position of the
head's lower stop.
Adjusting the head's lower stop
1. Loosen the fastening nut of the screw of area 31.
2. Lower the head down to the lower stop by
means of 3.
3. Tighten or loosen the socket screw of area 31
and apply the bolt 32 until it starts to penetrate
smoothly as far as it will go.
4. Once the stop has been adjusted, tighten the
fastening nut of the screw in area 31.
5. Proceed to check again.
