Before using for the fi rst time
–
Before the appliance is used for the
fi rst time, all detachable parts must be
thoroughly cleaned as described in the
section General Care and Cleaning.
Short-time operation
Th e appliance is designed to process average
domestic quantities of food; it can be operated
without interruption for a maximum of 30
seconds, when it should be allowed suffi cient
time to cool down.

Blender operation

Push the blender unit into its mounting
and lock it by turning it anti-clockwise,
observing the markings on the blender
unit and drive unit.
–
Any pieces of fruit should be cut into
smaller cubes measuring about 1.5 cm.
–
Always use a suitable container for
operation. Th e blender jar provided, or
any tall container with a fl at base are best
suitable.
–
Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.
–
Push the blender unit well down into the
ingredients in the bowl before using one
of the operating buttons to switch the unit
on.
–
Make sure that the unit can rotate freely
inside the bowl and is not blocked during
operation.
–
As soon as the operating button is
released, the blender will switch off .
Always wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before lift ing the
departments.

To detach the blender unit, turn it
clockwise to unlock before pulling out.
Whisk attachment
Th e whisk attachment is suitable for whipping
cream or beating egg-white, or for processing
liquids such as soups or sauces.

socket and wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before changing
any attachment.

Fit the whisk attachment to the drive unit
and lock it by turning it anti-clockwise.
General care and cleaning
Always remove the plug from the wall
socket before cleaning the appliance.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the drive unit or the power cord
with water and do not immerse them in
water. Th e drive unit may be wiped with a
slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or sharp or pointed objects for
cleaning.

For cleaning, the blender or whisk
attachment can be detached from the
drive unit by turning clockwise. To re-fi t
any attachment, push it into its mounting
and lock it by turning anti-clockwise.
–
Th e blender and whisk attachments can
be cleaned using hot water and a mild
detergent. However, make sure that
water does not enter the drive shaft of the
attachment from above.
Caution: the blade of the blender unit is
extremely sharp.
If necessary, a suitable brush may also be
used to clean the blade.
Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective
appliances in domestic garbage;
this should only be done through
public collection points.
