3. REDUCE PRESSURE AND OPEN THE LID
Carefully, remove the pressure valve allowing the vapor to go out gradually. This is the way of

reducing inner pressure. See Picture 3A.
Another way to release the vapor is removing the knob gradually. Remove the lid with the elastic

zone has lowered completely. See Picture 3B.
CAUTION AND MAINTENANCE
When you cook, if you vapor is going out from the pressure valve, please reduce the fire of the oven.

Have in mind not to exceed the maximum volume allowed for the pressure cooker because some
•
foods expand. For rice don't use more than one third of its capacity. For meat or fish, usually it is
used no more than three fourths of its total capacity.
Cooking pressure is 80Kpa. You must always use the pressure valve.

The knob and handles have lubrication from factory. You can clean them with soap and water.
•
Clean the pressure cooker after not using it for a long period.
