The charging cycle phases are the following:
C1: First charging phase. The red LED is on (battery charge is less than 30%).
C2: Second charging phase. Red and yellow LEDs are on (battery charge is between 30% and 60%)
C3: Third charging phase. The three LEDs are on (battery charge is between 60% and 100%).
M: Intermittent lighting of the three LEDs, first red, then yellow and then green. End of the charging phase and start of
the maintenance phase.
M(!): Intermittent lighting of red and yellow LEDs. The battery has not reached the third charging phase within the last
12 hours and the charger starts the maintenance phase. You should check the battery fluid levels and / or consider
replacing it.
The automatic charging system adopted in this charger is based on the control of the charge level at every moment.
The charging cycle ends within 24 hours.
The recharge of the battery is interrupted once the final charge level has been reached. The charge is also interrupted if
it lasts a long time and exceeds the value of the programmed voltage, since it would cause gasification of the
electrolyte.
In any case, at the end of charging procedure, a maintenance period is set up to keep the battery's charge level
constant and preventing it from being discharged.
