• Drill a hole for the expander/anchor at a distance of
300 mm (11,8") from the centre of the hole. The
distance of 300 mm (11.8") applies to the quick
mounting bracket with quick coupling for a DM220.
With a collar fitted, the distance is 320 mm (12.6").

• Screw the baseplate tight. Check carefully that the
expander is secured correctly.
• The bottom plate can be adjusted to the surface by
using the leveling adjustment screws. Use the feed
handle.
Fixing with threaded rod, washer and lock
nut
If the mounting surface is inadequate for drilling in ceilings
or walls, the baseplate can be fixed using a threaded rod,
which is mounted on the back end with a washer and
locking nut.

ASSEMBLY

Assembly of drill motor

!
• Always remove the drill bit before the motor is
mounted or dismounted.
• Lock the feed housing lock.

Collar assembly

DS150
• Fasten the drill spindle to the collar. Use the feed
handle.

Quick mounting bracket assembly

DS250, DS250 Single speed, DS250 Single speed short
• Fit the quick mounting for the drill motor in the track on
the locking clamp. Make sure that the quick-mount is
pushed all the way to the bottom (1) of the rail on the
locking clip.
• Secure with the locking handle (2).
Use top positioned locking screw (3) only together with
DMS 240.
IMPORTANT! Always pull out the plug
from the outlet socket before cleaning,
maintenance or assembly.
