If you expose the camera to water, you must observe the following points:
–
The camera is not intended for driving (over 2–3 knots). Objects can
suddenly appear from under water when it is dark or the bottom can raise
up and the camera could smash against it or get caught.
–
Do not let the camera sink to the bottom (sludge). Objects could be hidden
in those the camera gets caught.
–
The camera and its connection cable are not intended to pull objects out of
the water.
Non-compliance with the preceding points can result in damage or even the
complete loss of the camera.
–
Disconnect the system from the battery.
–
Connect the mains charger to the battery (see C). The correct polarity must
be observed here.
–
The battery may not be charged for more than 24 hours (with an empty bat-
tery).
–
Because the battery loses its charge over time on its own, you should
recharge it every three months when the system is not in use in order to
avoid damage the battery through excessive loss of charge.
Following accessories are available for your RV-MARINE/2 video system:

Camera holder to attach the camera to a pole

–
Disconnect the battery after each use.
–
Regularly check the voltage of the battery (min. 11 V) in order to avoid
damage through excessive loss of charge. Charge the battery for 24 hours
max., if necessary, in order to avoid overcharging.
–
Make sure that components are clean. This is the only way to avoid
malfunctions.
