Introduction
To make best use of this device, we
advise you to read the following in-
structions carefully and make sure you
keep them. Some of the information
provided may be useful should pro-
blems arise.
RADIATOR TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
AND CONNECTION
Technical specifications
Your ASTRO radiator has passed the ac-
ceptance test and all the specifications
related to electrical resistance(s) can
be found in the specific label located
in the lower part of the appliance near
the power cord outlet. It is therefore
recommended that you examine this
before connecting to the power supply.
Connecting the radiator
Connection to the electricity mains
must be carried out in compliance with
the following:
the voltage of the electricity mains

must correspond to the voltage
shown on the label located in the
lower part of the appliance near the
power cord outlet.
the power cord must not be dama-
•
ged; if it is, it must only be replaced
by the manufacturer or by its service
centre, or by a technician with simi-
lar qualifications in order to prevent
any risk.
Positioning the Appliance
The ASTRO radiator must be positioned
at a distance of at least 40 cm from any
furniture, curtains, standard lamps, etc.
to avoid their deterioration.
The appliance must also NOT be placed
immediately below a power socket.

No problem for walls, stairs and other
fixed structures of the home.
USE IN BATHROOMS
The appliance is in class II and is pro-
tected against water splashes; it can
therefore be installed in bathrooms,
provided that the installation complies
with current legislation and rules of
good practice in the country in which
this takes place.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
The appliance may be used by
children, provided they are NOT under
8 years of age, and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or without experience or the
necessary knowledge, provided that
they are under supervision or have re-
ceived instructions concerning the safe
use of the appliance and an understan-
ding of the inherent dangers. Cleaning
and maintenance to be carried out by
the user must not be done by children
without supervision.
Children must be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the applian-
ce. Children under 3 years of age must
be kept at a distance if not continuously
supervised.
Children between 3 and 8 years of
age must only switch the appliance on/
off provided that it has been placed or
installed in its normal operating posi-
tion and that they are supervised or
instructed regarding the safe use of the
appliance and understand the inherent
dangers. Children between 3 and 8
years of age must NOT insert the plug,
adjust or clean the appliance or per-
form user maintenance.
