The intelligent fast chargers ATS-16PS and
ATS-36C serve for charging the rechargeable
batteries of the transmitters and receivers of
the ATS-16 wireless transmission system.
The chargers offer a most convenient
handling: To charge the batteries, they need
not be removed from the transmitter / receiv-
er; the unit is inserted into the charging
compartment together with its rechargeable
batteries. The design of the charging com-
partments ensures correct insertion of the
units. Thus, inadvertent reverse polarity is
prevented.
The charging station ATS-16P allows to
charge the batteries of up to two units at
the same time. A plug-in power supply unit
is also supplied.
The charging case ATS-36C on wheels
allows to charge the batteries of up to
36 units at the same time. A switch mode
power supply unit including mains cable,
labels for marking the transmitters/receiv-
ers inserted, and two keys for locking the
case are also supplied.
2 Safety Notes
The units (charger and power supply unit)
correspond to all required directives of the
EU and are therefore marked with
Only use this charger for NiCd or NiMH
rechargeable batteries. If non-rechargea-
ble batteries are charged, this may result in
leakage or explosion!

electric shock hazard.
Only insert rechargeable batteries of the
same type into the transmitter or the receiv-
er and always replace the batteries in pairs.
These units are suitable for indoor use

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on
the units, e. g. a drinking glass.
Do not operate the charger or immediately
disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket
1. in case of visible damage to the charger,
the power supply unit, or its cable,
2. if a defect might have occurred after the
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by
skilled personnel.
Model ATS-36C:

or material damage will be accepted if they
.
are used for other purposes than originally

take them to a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environment.
Never throw exhausted or defective re-
chargeable batteries into the household
