8. Die Change
Caution! The motor only runs when the punching die is installed.
When the die is removed a limit switch in the machine prevents the starting of the motor.
Caution! Do not turn the machine on with the punching die removed, do not trigger a punching operation and do
not reach into the open machine - Risk of Injury from rotating parts.
Insert the next die in exactly the same way and secure it using the 2 quick release levers.
Replace the paper outfeed, if removed, and lower the transport assembly.
Caution! The die cutters must be in the rear end position before inserting the die, as otherwise the punching die
cannot be installed. By pressing on both sides on the left- and right-hand spring plungers the die cutters can be
easily pushed into the rear end position.
