Safety instructions

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
• Caution! Do not vacuum water and flammable materials. Do
not vacuum burning materials or hot ashes.
• Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the
electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never
hold the appliance under running water.
• Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not
in use and before cleaning.
• Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
• Caution! Keep pets and bystanders away from the vacuum
openings! Do not use on people or pets! Risk of injury!
• Read this instruction manual carefully
before using the appliance. It contains
important information for your safety as
well as operating and maintenance advice.
• Observe all safety instructions to avoid
damage through improper use! Follow all
safety warnings on the appliance and in
this instruction manual.
