Your BOURGINI juicer has been designed
for rapidly pressing citrus fruits. The appliance
is suitable for domestic use only.

INITIAL USE
Preparation
•
Clean the appliance. Refer to the section
"Cleaning and maintenance".
ASSEMBLY (FIG. A)
Warning!
•
Before assembly, remove the mains plug
from the wall socket and wait for the motor
to stop running.
•
Place the juice collector (3) onto the motor
housing (4).
•
Place the pulp collector (2) onto the juice
collector (3)
•
Place the pressing cone (1) onto the
pulp collector (2).
USE
WARNING!
•
Do not use the appliance without the juice
catcher (3), the juice may then penetrate the
motor.
•
Never leave the appliance on continuously for
more than three minutes.
•
Let the appliance cool down for about five
minutes after every ten press sessions.
•
Assemble the citrus press. See the section titled
"Assembly".
•
Cut the citrus fruit in half.
•
Place the cut part of one half in the juicer head
or on the press cone.
•
Place a glass under the spout.
•
Push the spout downwards to open it. Push the
spout upwards to close it (drip stop).
•
Press the citrus fruit with the handle. The appliance
will automatically begin to press the citrus fruit.
The juice will automatically flow into the glass.
•
The "wings" on the sides of the press cone
spread the pulp across the pulp guard so that
the filter will not clog.
•
When there is a lot of pulp on the pulp guard,
clean it in order to prevent clogging.
•
Press the citrus fruit until hardly any juice
comes out of it. The appliance will automatically
stop when pressure is no longer applied.
Note: The appliance will automatically change
directions when turned on/off to ensure that more
juice is released.
•
Stop pressing the citrus fruit in one of the
following situations:
- No more juice is coming out of the citrus fruit
- The glass is filled with the desired amount of
juice.
•
After use, remove the mains plug from the wall
socket.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The appliance must be cleaned after each use.
Warning!
•
Before cleaning or maintenance, remove
the mains plug from the wall socket and
wait for the motor to stop running.
•
Do not immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
Caution!
•
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
•
Do not use sharp objects to clean the appliance.
•
Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
It is not recommended to wash the removable
parts of the appliance or the accessories in a
dishwasher.
•
Regularly check the appliance for possible damage.
•
Clean the motor housing with a soft, damp cloth.
•
Clean the accessories:
- Clean the pressing cone, the pulp collector and
the juice collector in soapy water.
