A. REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT TH HARDWARE
After installation/adjustment, the back can be easily removed from the wheelchair
if necessary.
1. Removal:
a. Push both release levers(A) forward to unlock the hardware.
b. Once both levers are in the forward position, lift the back straight up, using
the handle located on the top of the back.
2. Proper re-attachment after removal
To re-attach the back and hardware receivers, line up the pins(B) to the
a.
receivers.
b. Push the back into place on the receivers(C).
c. If properly inserted, the pins will "click" into a locked position.
3. Locking Pins
The locking pins provide a safety feature which prevents the back from being
released unintentionally from the wheelchair.
a. To lock, insert the pins (D) into the mounting receivers (C).
b. Remove the pins if the quick-release capability is desired.
If you are uncertain that you have heard the locking "click", pull up on the back
using the handle to test and make sure it has been securely locked.
If you fail to heed this warning damage to your equipment, a fall, or loss of control
may occur and cause severe injury to the rider or others.
B. REMOVE OR INSTALL HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SEATING
After installation/adjustment, by the authorized supplier, the seating can be easily
removed from the wheelchair if necessary.
1. Removal:
a. Remove the locking pin(E) from both receivers(F) on the seating system.
b. Pull on the lanyard (G) under the seat to unlock the hardware.
c. Lift the seat from the frame of the chair.
2. Proper installation
To re-attach the seat, line up the pins(H) to the receivers( I ).

b. Push the seat into place on the receivers.
c. If properly installed, the pins will "click" into a locked position.
3. Locking Pins
The locking pins provide a safety feature which prevents the seat from being
released unintentionally from the wheelchair.
a. To lock, insert the pins (E) into the mounting receivers (F) once the seating
it attached.
b. Remove the pins if the quick-release capability is desired.
ALWAYS be sure to insert the locking pin when you are finished with the installa-
tion of the seat or backrest. Test it to make sure it has been securely locked.

may occur and cause severe injury to the rider or others.
