Introduction
Thank you very much for purchasing the Nowsonic Legend conden-
ser microphone. Legend was developed for broadcast and recording
applications. It uses a high quality circuit design and a fully aluminum-
coated small diaphragm capsule. The Legend condenser microphone
features a well-balanced cardioid polar pattern, high output, very low
self-noise and an enhanced dynamic range. The microphone can be
used for professional applications in recording, broadcast, and TV
studios, on stage as well as for commentary, presentation and private
recording.
Please read this user manual carefully before using the equipment for
the first time to get the most out of it and to achieve the best possible
sound quality.

Operating manual
Turn on your recording and playback devices and lower the volume
to the minimum. Next, connect the microphone and turn on the
phantom power switch. Adjust the gain as needed. Avoid any feed-
back loops.
A feedback loop may occur if you cover the microphone capsule
with your hand or if the microphone is too close to a loudspeaker.
To avoid this, first lower the volume. Then alter the microphone's
position so that it's not pointing in the direction of the speaker. In
addition, increase the distance between the microphone and the
speaker.
