befOre use

• T ake the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, 
protective foil or plastic from the device.
• C onnect the power cable to the socket. 
Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches 
the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage: 220V-240V~ 50Hz.
• T he appliance can also use DC power by using 4 pcs. 1.5-volt AA Size UM3 LR6
batteries into the battery compartment (6). Make certain that the positive and
negative (+ and -) battery terminals are attached to the corresponding terminals
on the plate in the battery compartment.

• S witch the radio on and use the desired volume by using the volume
+ on/off- switch (2).
• U se the AM/FM switch (5) to choose the AM or FM- band.
• S elect the desired radio station by using the tuning button (4)
• S witch the volume + on/off- switch (2) in the 'off' position for switching of the radio.

• M W-band uses an internal directional antenna. Turn the radio in the right direction
for a good reception.
• M ake sure the FM-antenne (1) is fully extended for a good FM-reception.

Plug an headphone into the phone jack (3) to cut off trump sound and achieve
headphone listening.
aux-in jack
• T o connect an external device on the radio, you can use the aux-in jack (8).
• P ut the aux- in plug (not included) in the desired aux-in jack.
• S tart the music on the external device and adjust the volume by using the volume
+ on/off- switch (2).
